I&E This Week

Hi S206,

I heard that many of you have not done the survey questions for the feasibility study. In order to reduce your stress level, I will give you time to complete it during Wednesday's lesson. However, please decide the following before coming to class:

1. What is your company providing? (Can be either a product or service, but be specific. Don't tell me you are selling sporting goods - tell me whether you are distributing to stores or selling online.)
2. What is your target group? (e.g. are your clients retirees who want to keep fit or elite athletes?)
3. Which aspect of the retail chain are you focusing on? (If you want to design a pair of skates, don't tell me you opening a retail store to sell skates as stores don't normally do design.)
4. After answering the above 3 questions, tell me how your business is different and better than what is currently available.

Post your group's answer to the above questions in I&E Blog by Tuesday afternoon, 5pm.

Thanks!

Mr Dennis

Collection of Class Fund for the Month of July

Dear Classmates,

I am going to collect the class fund for July from most of you tomorrow. Please take note that I will collect the class fund for each month at the end of the month. So, please do not be mistaken as to why I am collecting the class fund for July in August. Last week, we had the level test, so I decided not to collect the class fund instead, and 31st July was last Sunday. Some of you have not even pay for the April-June class fund yet, but don't worry, I will ask the money from you tomorrow. Meanwhile, if any of your wants a class outing, you may feel free to put in your suggestion at the comments section below.

For the I&E Blog, I will be giving all of you authorship rights. However, I need all of your email addresses to be able to give you such authorship rights. I will ask for these email addresses from all of you tomorrow as well. Anyway, the link to the blog is: http://sst2011-s206ie.blogspot.com/. Do remember to come out with your 15 questions for the survey and post it on the blog. There will be peer evaluation forms for the I&E Push Cart Project 2011 on the blog as well.

Thank You.

Hao Ming

I&E Blog

Hi Haoming,

Please give everyone in class authorship rights to the I&E blog. Thanks!
